Compliance with the AI Act (EU Regulation 2024/1689) is a core pillar of our methodology. Our approach is structured across three levels:
Risk classification: Before starting any project, we assess the system according to AI Act risk categories (minimal, limited, high, unacceptable). This determines the governance controls applied throughout the entire lifecycle.
Total Expert Governance: Every AI-built system is validated by senior architects with 15+ years of experience. This includes bias audits, algorithmic decision traceability, technical documentation compliant with Annex IV of the Regulation, and fundamental rights impact assessments where applicable.
Compliance by design: We implement security frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC2, ENS) and human oversight protocols integrated from the design phase, ensuring the system is auditable, explainable and compliant from day one.

02 Who owns the AI-generated code? As a client, what guarantees do I have of exclusive ownership over the delivered product code?

This is one of the most relevant questions in the era of autonomous engineering. At The LIQUID Build, our position is clear:
Full client ownership: All source code, documentation, artifacts and deliverables generated during the project are the client's exclusive property from the moment of delivery. This is contractually formalized before starting any project.
No lock-in: We retain no licenses, usage rights or lock-in clauses over the delivered code. The client can modify, redistribute or transfer ownership without restrictions.
Original and auditable code: Our governance systems ensure every generated line is original, free from third-party license conflicts and fully traceable. We provide code provenance reports as part of the delivery.
Up-to-date legal framework: We adapt our contracts to the current legal framework on intellectual property and AI, including guidelines from the EUIPO and emerging case law on works generated by artificial intelligence systems.
